UFO.U.T.I – UFO Unplugged The Internet.

This is a game I created as part of a competition with Game Jolt, GameMaker Studio 2 and OperaGX. The purpose was to design a game for the OperaGX web browser when there was an internet connection issue. UTOUTI was my entry. Using simple keyboard movement of up and down, it is your job to connect the internet.

The player is a plug, and required to navigate the various elements in the game to firstly build power, and also collect nodes to increase their cable length. Once the player has enough power and length to complete the phase, the game increases slightly in difficulty. Aliens can appear to snip the cable and reduce your progress!

If a player reaches the end and finally establishes a connection, the game gets even harder again.
